PCS House System

In September 2023 we launched our House system.

At the very heart of the PCS House system is our school vision:

Aspire . Believe . Contribute . Achieve

Every student and every member of PCS staff belongs to a House. The House system strengthens the relationships amongst our school community. It fosters a feeling of teamwork and belonging and encourages engagement in all aspects of school life.

Throughout the year, students earn achievement points for their positive contribution to PCS and the wider community. This could be representation in clubs or extra-curricular activities, celebration of academic successes, attendance, fundraising for charity or participating in the number of competitions and challenges that arise across the year. These points feed into House Totals on a weekly basis.

The House names and colours were voted for by the students themselves and the logos were decided upon through a whole school competition. 

Our Houses are all named after beautiful Sussex villages within a short distance of Peacehaven
