Cooking Up A Treat
On Wednesday 15th May 2024, two year 9 students from PCS, Lewis and Gabriel attended a Swale Academy Interschool Bake Off style cooking competition at Holmesdale school in Snodland. The theme was 'Fakeaways'.
Students were presented with a selection of previously unseen ingredients and had to come up with an imaginative and creative choice of dishes highlighting the healthier side of a takeaway product. A two-course meal had to be produced in a two-hour time frame using the ingredients.
It was a closely run competition, and I am pleased to report that our representatives were successful in winning the award for the best tasting and best presented dessert.
A certificate was awarded to Lewis and Gabriel for their marvellous achievement.
Well done to the pair of you for your enthusiasm, positivity and creativity.
